Donation to local Nursery

Gow Groundworks donated 70 high visibility vests to local Pennyland Nursery. The vests will help keep the children safe when out and about in the local community. The children had a great time on the digger too.

Parcel Force, Inverness

Gow Groundworks was sub-contracted by Kingsway Contractors to carry out drainage and resurfacing works at Parcel Force, Inverness.

Lidl Store Refurbishments, Scotland

Gow Groundworks was sub-contracted by Dickie & Moore Ltd to carry out refurbishment external works at Lidl stores in Giffnock, Springburn, St. Rollox, Forfar and Ballieston.

New House Site, Killin

Gow Groundworks completed drainage, foundation and concrete floor in Killin for a new house

Resurfacing, Raigmore Hospital

Gow Groundworks was sub-contracted by Kier Construction to carry out resurfacing works at the entrance to Raigmore Hospital, Inverness.

Mast downtakings, Scotland

Gow Groundworks was sub-contracted by Balfour Beatty to take down telephone masts across Scotland and reinstate the area. They carried out 22 downtakings across Scotland from Canisbay to Dumfries.

Glenmorangie Distillery Tain – New Staff Access Path

Gow Groundworks were sub-contracted by Morrison Construction to carry out all works for the installation of a new path on a steep embankment to enable to the staff a safer access to their work place.

New Flats, Huntly, Aberdeenshire

Gow Groundworks was sub-contracted by CHAP Construction to carry out all groundworks for 12 new flats in Huntly. This was a tight congested site with limited access for large equipment. Our JCB Hydradig proved to be essential for this type of works along with our jack a box on our artic unit which allowed us to carry out deliveries into the small area safely and with ease.

Helipad Raigmore Hospital

Gow Groundworks was sub-contracted by Kier Construction to construct a new helipad at Raigmore Hospital, Inverness. This was a challenge to coordinate with live helicopter movements which had tight restrictions on working procedures which we had to overcome to complete the contract on time.

NC500 Charity Fundraiser

In July 2018, Alan took on a fundraising adventure in conjuction with SMT Volvo. He travelled around the North Coast 500 in a new Volvo 170 20t wheeled excavator to raise money for four charities. With lots of support from across the country, Alan raised a grand total of £14,000.00. This was split equally between four charities; MacMillan Cancer Support, Tiny Tinkers, Town & County Hospital, Wick and Diabetes Inverness and District Branch.
